Here we are, the lucky and actually first awardees of the Roland Wauer Award: Lisa, Bartolomeo and me got the chance to spend our stays at our favorite institutions. I got the opportunity to spend my month in Oxford at the John Radliffe Hospital. Back in school I spent a few hours in this beautiful city and I was absolutely fascinated by the Harry-Potter-like buildings and the whole academically inclined environment. Today I am thrilled by the internationally- renowned teams of scientists and researchers. The department has an outstanding reputation for teaching and research and I am so thankful to get a closer look on them, learn, get to know new people and absorb as much as I can. Let's go!
