The past week was super exciting! Many teachings, interesting patients, sightseeing, got to know a bunch of students, had a little dip into famous pubs and Oxford by night, had a lot of fun and learnings, and some trouble with my laptop- fixed it. So here we go: updates are coming :-)
In my second week I rotated between A and B Side of Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Every morning began with one hour ward round.
Some days consultants and doctors are having a coffee after the ward rounds, discussing further topics and open questions. Around lunch time there are either exciting trainings, interesting journal clubs, grand rounds or simulation trainings doctors and me can attend.
In my spare time I usually join the research team, which consists of research nurses, clinical fellows, doctors and consultants. I got introduced to some interesting projects I am happy to help out during my stay. Keep updated for more insights about it :)
